What is the best way to heat my home in emergency?
I have a gas fireplace that will work if the power is out, but what if no gas is available. What is the safest, best way to heat my home? I have read about propane. Is it safe to store it outside in the cold winters and hot summers? How much would I need to store for a winter supply? Is there something better than propane?
Your gas line will not be shut off in case of a power outage. The only time a gas line is cut off is if you don't pay your bill or if there is a MAJOR gas line problem in your area, and that is fixed very quickly.
Use the fireplace. Remember, it can burn wood also!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
